Welcome to Daisy Chains Preschool and DC’s Out of School Club!
Here at Daisy Chains we offer a breakfast club, pre-school sessions, lunch club, after school club and holiday club, providing high quality out of school care for children aged between 2 and 16.
We are a non-profit making, charitable organisation registered with Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council and OFSTED, which enables us to offer free places to 3 & 4 years olds in the preschool.
Our out of school/holiday club caters for children aged between 2 and 16 years.
Our preschool caters for children aged between 2 and 5 years.

Our team here at Daisy Chains is made up of highly motivated, experienced and qualified individuals, who are committed to providing high quality care and education, through fun-filled and enjoyable activities in a safe and secure environment.
We are also members of the National Day Nurseries Association.
When are we open?
We operate from 7.30am through to 6.30pm weekdays - including some school holidays but excluding bank holidays.

If this will be your child’s first time in day care we know you will be concerned about their welfare – and of course you will want to be certain that they will be happy here.

How Much Does it Cost?
We are committed to offering fair fees for our childcare. Our fees are based on the national average and take into consideration the cost of resources, food, drink and staffing.
We accept childcare vouchers. Please visit the fees section on the Information page to read more.
We also offer a free pick-up service to and from Millhouse Primary School.
If you have older children at Thurlstone Primary, for a small charge we also offer a drop-off service which means that you can leave them with us from 8.30am onwards and we'll take them over to the school at 8.50am for you.
